The U.S. Navy has selected small businesses under the 8(a) Business Development program as contractors on a potential $99.8 million multiple-award contract for information technology services in support of the Business Systems Center of Naval Supply Systems Command.
“This will allow us to expedite contracting actions with innovative business partners, and ensure new requirements and solutions can be delivered to the right end-users at the right times,” said Josh Eggleston, IT project manager at NAVSUP BSC.
The NAVSUP center is responsible for IT system design, development and maintenance in support of the Navy’s logistics, supply chain management and transportation, among other functional areas.
NAVSUP’s Fleet Logistics Center – Norfolk awarded the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
