Navy Awards Five Spots on $240 Fire Protection System Construction, Repair IDIQ

Four independent companies and one joint venture will vie for task orders under a potential five-year, $240M contract to build, renovate or repair fire protection systems at government installations location in Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada and Utah.

Naval Facilities Engineering Command received 10 bids for the multiple-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract via the U.S. Navy’s e-commerce portal and obligated $30K at the time of award, the Department of Defense said Friday.

The IDIQ has a base period of two years and three option years.

The awardees are:

• HCI Systems
• Heffler Contracting Group
• Millenium Fire Protection
• South Bay EDC
• Speedway-Orion JV
