Clark Construction Group has secured a potential $570.3M contract from the U.S. Navy to add and remodel facilities at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md.
The company will renovate two hospitals, build inpatient and outpatient medical care facilities and demolish six hospital buildings as part of the incrementally funded project, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
The Navy is allocating $120M at the time of award. DoD noted the service branch looks to obligate a total of $300M in fiscal year 2021 and FY 2022, then provide $150.3M in FY 2023.
Naval Facilities Engineering Command received one proposal for the firm-fixed-price contract via a competitive solicitation on the Navy’s e-commerce portal.
The Pentagon expects contract work to finish by March 2026.
