Seventeen companies have won spots on a potential three-year, $73.7M contract from the U.S. Navy to build technology platforms for undersea warfare applications.
Task orders encompass design, development, fabrication, test, installation, documentation and delivery of UW and undersea defensive family of systems, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
The branch received 17 offers for the multiple-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract and will obligate a $2,500 minimum guarantee on the first task order of each awardee.
Contract work will take place at contractor facilities and undisclosed government sites through March 2023.
