Navarro Research and Engineering has received a potential five-year, $80 million contract to continue providing environmental compliance and operation services at NASA’s White Sands Test Facility in New Mexico.
The company will provide environmental restoration, multimedia environmental compliance, sustainability and program management expertise under the the Environmental Compliance and Operation 2 contract, NASA said Wednesday.
Work is scheduled to commence on June 1 and will continue through May 31, 2023.
The White Sands facility is a branch of the agency’s Houston-based Johnson Space Center and is used for testing potentially hazardous materials, systems and components.
Oak Ridge, Tennessee-based Navarro is a woman-owned company that offers environmental, facility, nuclear, waste and technical support services to the federal sector.
