Nate Carey
Nate Carey, formerly assistant controller of Ball Corporation (NYSE: BLL), has been promoted to vice president and controller of the Broomfield, Colorado-based aerospace contractor.
He succeeds Shawn Barker, who transitioned to a new role as the corporation’s finance transformation VP, Ball said Monday.
Carey joined Ball in 2014 after he previously spent 13 years at PwC in senior associate and manager positions.
The certified public accountant also serves on the board of directors of A Precious Child, a nonprofit organization that offers support to displaced and disadvantaged families across the state of Colorado.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an M.B.A. degree from Colorado State University.
