TYSONS CORNER, VA, August 31, 2018 General Atomics‘ aeronautical systems business, PAE‘s joint venture with American Operations Corp. and Textron‘s (NYSE: TXT) Bell Helicopter subsidiary will work on a two-year NASA project focused on commercial unmanned aircraft systems, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
NASA said Wednesday it selected Bell, General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. and PAE ISR as part of cooperative agreements that aim to address the challenges facing routine commercial UAS operations in the National Airspace System and perform flight demonstrations in 2020.
