TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 26, 2016 A Red Hat (NYSE: RHT) private cloud infrastructure will work to support the computing requirements of NASA‘s Jet Propulsion Laboratory through the deployment of OpenStack and Linux, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.
The company said Monday the deployment is part of efforts to update and secure JPL’s storage and server system.
Red Hat added its engineers worked with JPL to install the on-site system to address the demand for computing resources among JPL researchers and scientists.
