Nakupuna Consulting has secured a potential seven-year, $370 million contract from the U.S. Army to integrate new functionality into a military human resources and payroll system.
The Department of Defense said Friday Army Contracting Command at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland received five offers through an internet solicitation for the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract in support of the Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army.
The military branch will assign work locations and obligate funding upon award of each task order.
Contract work is expected to conclude on July 9, 2031.
Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army
IPPS-A seeks to integrate more than 30 legacy systems to provide the Army with audit capability for pay and benefits and complete visibility of the total force through a single HR system as part of efforts to improve military readiness and talent management.
In October 2023, the Army solicited comments on a draft statement of work and related attachments for a single-award contract to meet the military payroll modernization requirement under the IPPS-A Increment II program.
In May, the service announced that IPPS-A is working to accelerate the development and delivery of software capabilities through the adoption of Agile best practices and is seeking industry support across the areas of automated testing, modular contracting and adaptive software architectures.
