TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 20, 2018 Mitre has named five people from industry, academia and the public sector as fellows to help the nonprofit organization address challenges in the areas of national defense, cybersecurity and health, GovCon Executive reported Friday.
The Visiting Fellows Program now includes Ashton Carter, board member of the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs and former secretary of the Defense Department, as the distinguished visiting fellow.
Mitre said Thursday Carter will work alongside senior visiting fellows Cisco Systems (Nasdaq: CSCO) Vice President Steven Boutelle, Rockefeller University professor Robert Darnell, Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy Director Mark McClellan and former National Security Agency deputy director Rick Ledgett.
