In his new capacity, Farahbakhshian will oversee expansion initiatives within the federal health IT segment and provide guidance for SBG offerings on the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology-Next Generation contract, the company said Thursday.
His appointment comes one month after Document Storage Systems acquired SBG to grow DSS’ federal service footprint.
He previously worked for By Light Professional IT Services , Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) and Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC).
Farahbakhshian serves as a fellow of the American Council for Technology and Industry Advisory Council.
