Each year, Wash100 celebrates the triumphs of the most distinguished executives in the government contracting industry. Winners of a Wash100 Award are those who have demonstrated unparalleled leadership prowess and a strong potential to continue shaping the GovCon field.
Ling is a first-time recipient of the Wash100 Award, and she was selected for work to drive artificial intelligence innovation. She was appointed to her current position in July, and since then, she has launched partnerships between Microsoft and AI-focused companies and advanced the still-in-development Azure OpenAI Service for Azure Government, which she described as a “purpose-built, AI-optimized infrastructure” that can enable federal agencies to “improve efficiency, enhance productivity, and unlock new insights from their data.” Read her full profile here.
“In the age of AI, Candice’s leadership and knack for innovation in this area make her not only an exceptional steward of the next generation of technology, but also an obvious selection for our Wash100 list this year,” Garrettson said.
Executive Mosaic congratulates Ling and Microsoft on their entry into the 2024 Wash100 class.
