Michael Langman Appointed SparkCognition VP of Commercial Aerospace, Defense Sales & Business Development

Michael Langman has transitioned to the role of vice president of commercial aerospace & defense sales and business development at SparkCognition, where he previously served as VP of strategy, sales and business development for its government systems business.

He announced his move to the multi-industrial corporate parent of SparkCognition Government Systems via a LinkedIn post Friday.

Langman’s industry career includes time working as a corporate development/M&A executive at the former Rockwell Collins company, managing director at The McLean Group and senior director of corporate business development at Thales‘ U.S. business arm. Prior to joining SGS, he was a vice president at D-Fend Solutions.

Earlier, he served with the U.S. Army for five years. He held the rank of captain at the military service branch before moving to the industry.
