Michael Ebert, a more than three-decade cybersecurity veteran, has joined Guidehouse’s cybersecurity practice as a partner.
He is focused on helping customers in health care and life sciences industries address privacy and cybersecurity challenges and brings to the role his experience in the areas of information security, health care regulatory compliance and information management, Guidehouse said Wednesday.
Marianne Bailey, partner and cybersecurity leader for Guidehouse, said Ebert is a subject matter expert and a cyber executive who brings to the consulting services company his industry knowledge, business creativity and cyber experience and could assist executive teams in protecting sensitive data from cyberthreats.
Ebert said he is looking forward to supporting global customers through Guidehouse’s practice that is focused on helping clients improve their cybersecurity posture and cyber capabilities.
Prior to Guidehouse, Ebert previously served as a partner at KPMG. He also held leadership roles at EY, Deloitte and Protiviti. He led the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act privacy and security monitoring program at the Office for Civil Rights.
