Michael Alkire
Michael Alkire, formerly chief operating officer of Premier (Nasdaq: PINC), has been promoted to president of the Charlotte, N.C.-based health care technology company.
Premier said Tuesday Alkires promotion recognizes the expansion of his role, which now includes oversight of strategies for the companys supply chain and performance services segments in addition to his responsibilities over business operations.
Alkire assumed the COO role in 2013 after serving as president of Premier Purchasing Partners. He has over two decades of business development experience at Deloitte & Touche and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young.
Craig McKasson
Craig McKasson, a senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer at Premier, has assumed additional duties as chief administrative officer of the company with oversight of corporate development, technology and enterprise project management functions.
McKasson previously served as VP of finance and corporate controller at Premier. He is a former consulting manager at Ernst & Young and serves as a board member at San Diego State Universitys Fowler College of Business.
Alkire and McKasson will directly report to Susan DeVore, who will continue to serve as CEO and as a member of Premiers board of directors.
