Who Is Ghassan Alaka?
Before joining Mercury, Alaka was vice president of global IT operations and chief information security officer at AeroVironment. In 2021, he joined AeroVironment as senior director of global IT operations for digital business technology.
Prior to AeroVironment, the newly appointed CIO served as director of cloud engineering and operations at Oracle.
Alaka’s industry career included time as director of IT at Eze Software Group, senior director of global IT infrastructure and operations at Pegasystems and head of global infrastructure at Monitor Deloitte.
Earlier in his career, he held IT infrastructure leadership roles at CMGI, Addison Wesley Longman and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, among other companies.
