Bill Ballhaus, chairman and CEO of Mercury Systems, will head the division on an interim basis until a permanent successor is appointed, the company said Wednesday.
Ballhaus, a former Wash100 awardee, highlighted Stevison’s contributions and commitment to helping solidify the company’s growth strategy and expressed confidence that the outgoing executive will “manage a seamless transition to new leadership.”
Stevison joined Mercury Systems as EVP and chief growth officer in October 2021 and assumed his current role a year later.
Before that, he served as VP of strategy and development within the missile and defense unit at the former Raytheon company and program director of missile defense targets and countermeasures at Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT).
