Maurice Thomas, former senior director of corporate governance at Visual Connections, has been promoted to lead the Windsor Mill, Maryland-based information technology services provider as president.
Thomas oversaw project portfolios valued at $300 million combined over the course of his government contracting industry career, Visual Connections said Tuesday in a LinkedIn post.
His three-decade professional experience has included work as a consulting project manager at Oracle (NYSE: ORCL), program management principal at CSC and an adjunct professor at American Public University and The University of Maryland.
Visual Connections announced in a separate post that Shanika Palm, the company’s chief technology officer since November 2017, has become vice president of operations.
She will also provide advice to the leadership team on matters related to business and technical strategy, partnership and stakeholder relations.
The company’s service offerings for the government sector encompass consulting, information technology, health care, data, and network, video surveillance and access control support.
