Matthew Pfrommer, who joined Cubic (NYSE: CUB) last year, has been appointed vice president of strategic capabilities at the company’s mission solutions business.
He will aim to implement business strategies, establish a CMS innovation center and identify new growth opportunities through technology development efforts in his new role, Cubic said Wednesday.

CMS President Mike Twyman said Pfrommer has implemented business development initiatives that allowed Cubic to help the Defense Department address multiple technology gaps.
Matts new role will be instrumental for our growth as he will work across mission chains to lead strategic technology initiatives, Twyman added.
Pfrommer previously served as a senior DoD Acquisition Corps member and supported U.S. Army procurement functions related to project management, science and technology, test and evaluation and engineering.
The 24-year military and industry veteran Pfrommer also held positions focused on national asset mission system design, development and deployment.
