Matthew McFadden, formerly the cyber director of General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) information technology business, has been promoted to become vice president of cyber and distinguished technologist within the same unit, G2Xchange FedCiv reported Monday.
As VP, McFadden will lead General Dynamics Information Technology’s Cyber Center of Excellence that provides support to federal, civilian, defense and intelligence and homeland security customers.
He previously held roles at CSRA, now part of GDIT, for three years before the acquisition in 2018.
McFadden’s career at CSRA included time serving as defense chief technologist, cybersecurity service area director and senior principal.
The executive was also a network and security engineer for Ingersoll Rand earlier in his career.
