He replaces Maurita Sutedja and will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of reports on the market environment, business performance and outlook to the company’s shareholders and investors, Boeing said Tuesday.
Welch has served as VP of revenue management within the commercial airplanes business since March 2019.
“His broad experience with our financial stakeholders and his commitment to transparency will help us further advance our efforts and build upon Maurita’s exceptional work over the last several years,” Boeing Chief Financial Officer Brian West said of Welch’s appointment.
