Matt Tait
Matt Tait, formerly senior managing director and defense lead at Accenture (NYSE: ACN), has been appointed to succeed Dan Keefe as president of ManTech International‘s (Nasdaq: MANT) mission solutions and services group.
ManTech said Wednesday Tait will join the company on June 19 and assume his new position on July 1.
He will oversee the delivery of mission support and digital services to customers across the federal civilian and national security sectors.
Kevin Phillips, president and CEO of ManTech and a consecutive two-time Wash100 winner, said Tait has demonstrated an ability to help clients operate, sustain and modernize systems deployed worldwide throughout the platforms’ life cycle.
Speaking Tuesday with GovConDaily, Phillips added, “If you look at Matt’s background with digital transformation, his experience in the Navy and support for veterans, along with his strong leadership skills, it’s clear he’s the right candidate to help our customers fulfill key mission requirements.”

“We’re entering this year with strong growth from contract awards and a record pipeline. It’s a very important time for our nation and ManTech is in a position to provide needed support to critical customers,” Phillips elaborated.
Tait previously led Accenture’s work with the departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs. Before that, he served as civilian health lead of the company from 2010 to 2015 and worked on the Healthcare.Gov transformation project.
He spent 10 years as a U.S. Navy officer before he joined the private sector.
