Marvin Engineering Books $132M IDIQ for Navy Aircraft Missile Launchers, Bomb Ejectors

The Marvin Group’s engineering unit has secured a potential seven-year, $132.5M contract to provide missile launch systems and bomb ejector racks for the U.S. Navy’s fighter and electronic warfare aircraft platforms.

Marvin Engineering will supply 1,339 BRU-32B/A ejector rack assemblies and 1,056 LAU-127E/A single-rail guided missile launchers to the service branch for use on the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler planes, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.

Naval Air Systems Command will obligate funds for the firm-fixed-price and indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity award upon issuance of individual orders.

Work will take place in Inlgewood, California, through September 2027.

BRU-32B/A pneumatic ejector racks are designed to support bomb carriage and release functions aboard fifth-generation fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft, according to Marvin Engineering.

The company designed its LAU-127 suite of missile launchers to carry and release advanced medium range air-to-air missiles from the Growler and Super Hornet vehicles.
