Mark Shepardson, formerly the director of capture strategy for Palantir Technology‘s (NYSE: PLTR) federal business, has been appointed chief technology officer at defense technology provider Parry Labs.
He has gained computing, software and digital transformation experience, as well as knowledge of defense and intelligence community challenges over the course of his career, Parry Labs said Monday.
His career also includes prior work as senior director of agile/DevSecOps enterprise strategy, chief software architect for mission systems and director of intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance mission architectures at Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC).
A Department of Defense undersecretary previously commended Shepardson for his contribution to acquisition policy reform efforts. His initiatives were applied to edge deployments with aircraft, spacecraft, land vehicles, naval ships and cloud platforms.
Alexandria, Virginia-based Parry Labs aims to help military customers implement computing and networking systems designed to support warfighter communications and information exchange.
