Mark Satran
Mark Satran, formerly a managing director at Alterna Capital Partners, has joined private equity firm AE Industrial Partners as a senior managing director.
Satran brings to the role more than three decades of experience in aviation leasing and structured finance, AEI said Wednesday.
"Mark brings a wealth of industry and technical knowledge to our new commercial aviation leasing platform, including a long and deep track record of structuring unique leasing solutions that have delivered strong risk adjusted returns for institutional investors," said David Rowe, a managing partner at AEI.
Satran previously served as a director at Pitney Bowes Global Credit Services. He also worked at GE Capital Vendor Financial Services and Citicorp Global Equipment Finance.
The private equity firm also established AEI Aerospace Aggregator to help acquire commercial aircraft, engine assets and structuring leasing platforms. The New Mexico Education Retirement Board committed $150M in funds to AEI Aerospace Aggregator to help pursue new investment opportunities.
