Mark Lee, former executive vice president of public sector business at ICF (Nasdaq: ICFI), will step into the chief technology executive role at the Reston, Virginia-based consulting and technology services provider.
He will oversee a group focused on expanding the company’s technology capabilities and federal digital modernization business and lead a new companywide organization tasked with advancing innovation and tech growth, ICF said Tuesday.
John Wasson, chair and CEO of ICF and a two-time Wash100 awardee, said Lee’s leadership capabilities and ability to integrate technology into the company’s set of offerings will be key as ICF continues to create long-term value for its customers across all markets.
Lee has been with ICF for over two decades and has held leadership positions within the global consultancy’s public sector business, including head of business development and disaster management division and head of climate, sustainability, environmental health and surface transportation businesses.
In the same announcement, ICF announced the appointment of company veteran Jennifer Welham as health, human services and workforce business lead. In this capacity, she will support the company’s U.S. federal health, security, social programs and organizational clients.
Welham most recently served as a senior vice president of a division focused on providing research, training, analytics, evaluation and technical assistance to the National Institutes of Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other federal health clients.
