Pete Pflugrath, senior VP of markets and growth at LMI, said in a statement published Thursday said Kennedy’s hands-on experience in growing intelligence-related businesses in the private sector and supporting the development of innovative platforms for the intelligence community makes her the right person to oversee the company’s intelligence market efforts.
Kennedy most recently served as executive for federal growth at Torch.AI and led the intelligence division at E3 Federal Solutions, which merged with The Sentinel Co. to form Avantus Federal. She spent 18 years at Scitor and held the role of sector VP for national services.
She started her government career providing support to a specialized sensors unit at the U.S. Army’s Night Vision and Electro-Optic Lab. She also served as an intelligence assistant for the human intelligence and counterintelligence branch at Army Intelligence and Security Command.
