Margaret Amori: NVIDIA Helps Agencies Advance AI Adoption Through Platforms, Startup Ecosystem

Margaret Amori, Inception lead for public sector at NVIDIA (Nasdaq: NVDA), said the company works to help the federal government adopt artificial intelligence in five areas and one of those is through graphic processing units and other platforms that NVIDIA offers for AI development and deployment.

Amori wrote that one of those platforms is the DGX A100 system for enterprise AI architecture that runs on NVIDIA Tensor Core processors and second-generation AMD EPYC central processing units.

She said NVIDIA supports federal agencies by offering more than 150 software tools, frameworks and developer libraries to help them accelerate AI and data analytics deployment efforts.

Amori noted that the company helps agencies through its GTC conferences and Deep Learning Institute program, which offers training and other AI-related resources to federal employees.

She also talked about the company’s Inception startup ecosystem and how it works to help agencies in their AI journey.

“Through the Inception program, NVIDIA is able to nurture startups developing cutting-edge technology across a variety of use cases,” Amori wrote.

She cited Clarifai, CalypsoAI, CVEDIA and H20.ai as some of the Inception startups that are working to help agencies adopt AI.
