ManTech to Extend Space Force Acquisition, Operations Security Support

ManTech will continue to provide specialized security support services to the U.S. Space Force under a one-year, $43.5 million contract modification.

The company will help secure acquisition and operational mission areas at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California and Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.

USSF’s Space Systems Command obligated $14 million on the award.

Herndon, Virginia-based ManTech originally received the 10-year, $158 million security services contract from Air Force Space Command, which was redesignated as the Space Force in December 2019.
