ManTech International (Nasdaq: MANT) will continue to provide systems engineering and integration services in support of space launch operations under a potential $475.5 million contract with the U.S. Space Force.
The company will support the National Security Space Launch program and provide launch service integration, fleet surveillance and certification support to the Space and Missile Systems Center under the Systems Engineering and Integration 2 contract, according to an award notice posted Tuesday.
The U.S. Air Force awarded the first iteration of the SE&I contract to ManTech in 2010. Technical support under this contract includes mission integration management, systems safety engineering, systems environmental engineering, systems security and information assurance, launch risk management and launch schedule management.
Under the recompete contract, ManTech will also provide personnel, equipment, tools, labor, materials, transportation, supervision and other services in support of the SMC launch enterprise at Los Angeles Air Force Base in California, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida and California-based Vandenberg Air Force Base.
