Manhattan Construction has won a $149.9 million contract to construct a
U.S. Army building in Fort Belvoir in Virginia.
The six-floor building will comprise two underground levels and is set for completion by Aug. 30, 2019, the Defense Department said Tuesday .
The Army Corps of Engineers solicited bids via the Internet and received five proposals for the contract.
The obligated amount of $88.7 million is from military construction funds for fiscal year 2016.
