The Department of Defense said Tuesday the Allentown, Pennsylvania-based company will deliver logistics products and engineering change proposal support for the M917A3 HDT under the firm-fixed-price contract.
The contract is expected to be completed by Dec. 23, 2031. Specific work locations and funding will be determined on an order-to-order basis. The Army Contracting Command at Detroit Arsenal, Michigan, which is the contracting activity, issued an online solicitation process that yielded one bid.
Previous Mack Defense-Army Deal
In 2018, Mack Defense was awarded a potential seven-year, $296.4 million contract to supply armored and armor-capable dump trucks to the Army. The firm-fixed-price contract, which was set to be completed on May 18, 2025, was intended to reinforce the Joint Forces’ operations and enhance survivability, mobility, sustainment and counter-mobility capabilities.
