Luke Savoie, formerly president of intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance at L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX), has been chosen by the board of directors at Elbit Systems‘ (Nasdaq: ESLT) U.S. subsidiary to succeed retiring President and CEO Raanan Horowitz.
Horowitz will step down from the dual role on March 31, 2024, after a 34-year career at Elbit Systems of America and will work closely with Savoie, who will join the Texas-based defense contractor at the end of August 2023, to ensure a smooth transition, the company said Tuesday.
Savoie has held sector leadership roles during his nearly eight-year tenure at L3Harris. He previously served as director of programs at Sierra Nevada Corp. and senior vice president of business development at ForceX.
