Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has secured a potential five-year, $90.3M contract from the U.S. Navy to update the Office of Naval Intelligence's measurement and signature intelligence enterprise suite.
The company will engineer and document systems; design and develop software; and provide integration, test, installation, management and training services, the Department of Defense said Monday.
Efforts will support modernization of the MASINT Enterprise for Global Acoustic Intelligence system.
DoD noted the cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost-reimbursement contract has a base value of $29.5M and work is initially scheduled to conclude April 1, 2021. The performance period would extend through April 5, 2025, if all options are exercised.
