Lockheed Lands $157M USAF Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile Enterprise Software Sustainment Contract

Lockheed Martin‘s (NYSE: LMT) rotary and mission systems division has secured a $157 million contract to help the U.S. Air Force sustain the enterprise management software of the service branch’s air-launched cruise missile system.

The contractor will perform sustainment and modernization of the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile enterprise management software, build operational real-time combat analysis systems and deliver SMART-Sync software, the Department of Defense said Monday.

Work includes mission optimization analysis and reporting; JASSM advanced training; and terminal area model automation systems engineering, integration and testing.

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems will conduct work at its facility in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, through April 21, 2025.

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida will obligate $10 million in fiscal 2024 operation and maintenance funds for the contract’s base year.

JASSM is a long-range cruise missile designed to provide air-to-ground capabilities for the Air Force and international forces.
