Army Contracting Command-Redstone is the contracting activity and will determine work locations and funding upon the issuance of individual contract orders, the Department of Defense said Monday.
The modification was made under an $861.3 million full-rate production contract awarded in early May to manufacture up to 288 M142 HIMARS launchers and provide associated equipment and support services.
HIMARS carries a six-pack of guided multiple-launch rocket system rockets and can launch Lockheed’s entire multiple launch rocket system family of munitions.
Work under the modification is expected to conclude by May 31, 2028.
