TYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 10, 2016 ” Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) will launch a CubeSat lunar research satellite with Orion‘s Exploration Mission-1 in 2018 under a contract with NASA, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
The company said Monday the SkyFire miniature satellite will be equipped with an infrared camera and work to capture images of the moon and lunar characteristics such as solar illumination areas.
