TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 18, 2016 A Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) and Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) joint venture has received a performance-based logistics award from the Defense Department for its work in the Javelin program, GovCon Executive reported Thursday.
Lockheed said Wednesday its Javelin Joint Venture and the U.S. Army‘s close combat weapon systems project office were awarded for their effort to deliver weapon system reliability and availability as well as lower sustainment costs for the Javelin missile.
