Longbow, a joint venture of Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) and Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC), has secured a $164M contract from the U.S. Army to manufacture mast-mounted assembly and radar electronics for AH-64E Apache helicopters.
The firm-fixed-price contract includes foreign military sales to the United Arab Emirates, Netherlands, India and Morocco, the Department of Defense said Thursday . The Army solicited for the contract online and received one proposal.
Army received one bid for the contract via an online-based solicitation. Work will take place in Orlando, Florida, through Dec. 31, 2022.
The Lockheed-Northrop JV will also supply Apache fire control radars to 12 FMS customers under a separate $235.8M contract awarded in January.
