TYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 18, 2016 ” Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has opened a pilot training facility for the T-50A trainer aircraft in South Carolina as it eyes the U.S. Air Force‘s T-X trainer replacement contract, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
The company said Tuesday the facility will house tooling and manufacturing equipment for the T-50A’s final assembly as well as the Ground-Based Training System.
