TYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 18, 2017 — Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has established a new 7,000-square-foot training facility in Troy, Alabama, that will deliver on-site education programs for local employees, military and government agencies in efforts to develop the state’s workforce, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.
The company said Thursday the Advanced Manufacturing and Technology Center at its Pike County campus received $2 million in funds from the Alabama Industrial Development Training agency and will work to enable continued online learning for nearly 500 employees while housing team functions.
