TYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 23, 2017 — Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has worked with NASA to test the Orion crew module’s vehicle management computers, power and data units and flight software during an initial power-up event at the Kennedy Space Center, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
The company said Tuesday the spacecraft will be part of NASA’s Exploration Mission-1 and launch aboard the Space Launch System vehicle ahead of future missions to carry astronauts to deep space.
