TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 16, 2018 Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has started the construction of a new $50 million, 255,000-square-foot facility in Florida that will house research and development, program management and engineering operations for the missiles and fire control business, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
The company said Wednesday the future Research & Development II building will also potentially generate 500 jobs in Orlando as part of a larger expansion effort for 1,800 new hires over the next two years.
