John Slota, former vice president of defense strategy and business development operations at Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), has joined General Dynamics' (NYSE: GD) information technology business as VP and chief growth officer, G2Xchange FedCiv reported Thursday.
Slota oversees GDIT's growth strategy and business development and technology initiatives. He also leads an integrated team of professionals responsible for growing the unit's federal civilian, defense and intelligence lines of business.
Prior to the $5B merger, the 25-year Lockheed veteran was director of business development and strategy for the enterprise information technology and cyber solutions operation under the ISGS organization's defense and intelligence group.
