TYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 22, 2016 ” A joint venture of Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) and Boeing (NYSE: BA) collaborated with the U.S. Air Force to launch the latest Geosynchronous Space Situational Awareness Program satellites built by Orbital ATK (NYSE: OA), ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.
The Air Force said Friday the launch aboard United Launch Alliance‘s Delta IV rocket is part of the AFSPC-6 mission to advance space situational awareness.
