Lisa Sherhart, a senior human resources executive with over three decades of industry experience, has been promoted to chief human resources officer at Accenture‘s (NYSE: ACN) federal business arm.
She will assume her new post on Dec. 1 and succeed retiring CHRO Susann Bresnahan, who will remain a strategic adviser to Accenture Federal Services through the end of the fiscal year, the company said in an email to GovCon Wire.
Sherhart will oversee the company’s overall HR functions, including inclusion and diversity, retention and advancement, learning and development, HR technology and talent acquisition.
The 30-year industry veteran has been deputy HR director at Accenture Federal Services since 2012. In this role, Sherhart has supported the company’s I&D function and oversaw workforce transition for acquired companies.
