Linda Dorsey , a 23-year U.S. Army veteran, has been named chief information security officer for technology shared services at General Dynamics ‘ (NYSE: GD) information technology business, according to a recently published LinkedIn post.
Dorsey joined GDIT in June 2016 as senior manager of cybersecurity, a role she held for six years before becoming director of cybersecurity in March 2022.
Before that, she held a full-time information security role at Computer Sciences Corp., which merged with HP Enterprise’s enterprise services segment to form DXC Technology .
Dorsey served in the Army for over two decades and was deployed in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom. She retired as a first sergeant in 2007.
