Leidos to Support Modernization of NATO Ballistic Missile Defense Capabilities

Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) will work with NATO to help modernize the ballistic missile defense capabilities of the organization under two single-award, firm-fixed-price contracts from the organization’s Communications and Information Agency.
The company said Friday the internationally competed contracts are worth $90M in total estimated value and have four-year base period of performance and four option years for maintenance efforts.
Leidos will support the development of NATO command and control system requirements, integration and testing of C2 platforms, creation of BMD architecture as well as operation, maintenance and modernization of its integration testbed.
Mike Rickels, senior vice president of C4ISR solutions at Leidos, said the company’s international team has more than two decades of experience in collaborating with NATO and will continue to provide support to enhance its BMD capabilities.
