Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) has created the multi-domain solutions division and named Chad Haferbier as vice president and division manager, he announced in a LinkedIn post on Saturday.
The Department of the Air Force veteran transitioned to his new post from his recent responsibilities related to multi-domain operations at Leidos. He joined the company in October 2021 as VP/division manager.
He was with DAF for 16 years, starting as a budget and cost analyst before ascending up the ranks to group director and senior materiel leader of advanced all-domain capabilities.
Previously, Haferbier was operations manager at advertising firm Vertrue and operations supervisor at UPS.
The Leidos VP is an experienced defense procurement professional, certified under the Department of Defense Acquisition Professional Development Program and American Society of Military Comptrollers.
He has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and psychology at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and a master’s degree in business administration at Bellevue University.
