Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) has received two task orders worth up to $639 million combined to provide information technology services for the Social Security Administration™s Disability Case Processing System and office of software engineering.
The task orders awarded through the company™s new IT support services indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with SSA have a base term that will run through Sept. 30 and four option years, Leidos said Tuesday.
The Reston, Va.-based IT services contractor will support OSE™s software updates and web design lifecycle activities such as agile, waterfall and hybrid methodology deployment and user-centered design, implementation and integration under the first task order.
The DCPS task order covers IT support staff, technical knowledge and other resources to help SSA streamline the disability claims process.
Doreen Cohen, senior vice president for civil health at Leidos, said the company continues to support SSA™s efforts to build up software capabilities and facilitate its disability claim review process through the IDIQ contract.
